SEARCH ROCKET INC, doing business as Home Service Direct ("we," "us," "our"), helps home service companies generate leads. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, our forms, and the advertising we manage for our clients, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect on our website
Information you give us. When you submit a form on our website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, company name, and (optionally) your website.
Information collected automatically. Pages you view, approximate location (city and region derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site (for example, a Google or Facebook ad, search, or referral). We do not store your form name, email, or phone in our website-analytics records.
Information we receive from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
We manage Facebook and Instagram advertising for home service businesses (our "clients"). To do this, we use Meta's Marketing API with access our clients have given us. Through it we receive:
- Lead form submissions. When you respond to one of our clients' ads and submit a lead form, we receive the details you chose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, city or zip code, and your answers to the form's questions.
- Advertising data. Campaign, ad set, and ad settings and performance results (for example impressions, clicks, cost, and number of leads) for the ad accounts we manage. This data is about ads, not about individual people.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you requested.
- To deliver lead form submissions to the business whose ad you responded to, and to help that business follow up with you.
- To run, measure, and report on our clients' advertising.
- To understand which marketing channels bring in calls so we can improve our site and campaigns.
- To contact you about your inquiry and relevant services.
We do not use information we receive from Meta to build profiles of people, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to our clients' advertising.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. These include Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook) advertising tools, as well as our own first-party analytics that records anonymized page-view and traffic-source events. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With the business you contacted. If you submit a lead form on one of our clients' ads, we share your submission with that business so it can respond to you.
- With service providers that help us operate. These include cloud hosting and database providers, our CRM (used to manage and respond to leads), team messaging, and an AI assistant we use to run our advertising tools. Each one processes information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide its service to us.
- With advertising platforms, as needed to run the advertising our clients have asked us to manage.
- When required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We keep lead form submissions for as long as needed to deliver them and support our client's follow-up, and then delete them. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted by contacting us using the details below. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Deleting your data
To have us delete information we received about you through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, email us at [email protected] with the name, phone number, or email address you submitted. We will delete it from our systems within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Please note that the business you contacted may keep its own copy of your submission under its own privacy policy. You can also review and manage the apps and ad data connected to your account in your Facebook settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
