When a pipe bursts or the AC quits in July, the homeowner calls whoever looks trustworthy and answers first. We build home service websites for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning and pest control companies that put reviews up front, make calling one tap and text back every missed call.
Plumbers, heating and air companies, electricians, cleaners and pest control all sell differently, so each design is built for its trade. Yours is built around your name, your photos and your jobs.

A homeowner with a leak or a dead furnace does not browse. They pick the company that looks trustworthy and is easiest to reach.
Your number is a one-tap button at the top of every page, so a homeowner with water on the floor reaches you fast.
Under a sink or up in an attic? A missed call gets an instant text back before the homeowner dials the next company.
Calls, texts and quote requests land in one app on your phone, not an inbox you forgot to check.
Water heaters, AC repair, panel upgrades, deep cleans. Each service gets its own page with photos of your work.
Your best Google reviews sit near the top, and a review request text goes out after every job.
Hosting and fixes are handled for you. No setup fees, no contract, and the domain stays yours.
Here is what each piece does to turn a visit into a booked job. Built, hosted and kept running for you.

A homeowner with water on the floor is searching on their phone, not a laptop. Your site loads fast and looks right there.

Under a sink when the phone rings? The caller gets a text right away, so they do not dial the next company on the list.

The form asks what is wrong and how soon they need you, plus a photo, so your tech knows the job before calling back.

Your stars and best reviews show first. When the AC quits in July, people call the company their neighbors trust.

Water heaters, drains, leaks, AC repair, panels: every service you sell gets its own page and photos of your work.

A page for each town you cover, so you show up when someone searches for a plumber or HVAC company near them.

Calls, texts and requests land in one app on your phone, so nothing sits in an inbox you forgot to check.

Every finished job sends a text asking for a Google review, so new reviews keep landing week after week.
These are tree service and landscaping owners we work with, not plumbing or HVAC shops, on what changed for their companies.
"I always struggled to keep all our crews busy year-round. Phones were at a standstill at certain times of year. Since I've been dealing with Dave from Home Service Direct, he's always kept our calendar full. It has been a game changer for our company."
"I've been with you guys for four years now and my business has grown. When I first started it was just me and maybe two other guys. Now I have got about five, six guys and I am building a second crew right now."
"Done the mailers, done the flyers, print ads, Angi. Nobody has done what Home Service Direct has done for my business. In less than six months we have scaled, opened another office and acquired more employees. It is the best marketing decision I've made for my company."
Most owners end up with one of these. Here is what home service web design usually looks like from each.
You run the trucks. We build the site, set up the review requests and keep it all running.
A short call about your services, your area and the jobs you want more of.
We build it around your name, your vans and your own job photos. You tell us what to change.
Your site goes live in about 5 days, missed calls start getting a text back and every finished job sends a review request.
Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, house cleaning, pest control, garage doors, tree service, landscaping and more. Our home service web design changes with the trade: a plumbing site leads with emergency calls, a cleaning site with recurring visits.
$299 a month with $0 setup and no contract. That covers the website, hosting and fixes, a page for every job and every town you serve, the quote form that asks about the job, every lead in one app, missed-call text back and a Google review text after every job.
About 5 days. We write the pages, set up the phone and lead tools and handle the launch. You send photos of your vans, techs and jobs.
The caller gets an instant text back so they know a real company got the message, and the lead lands in the app on your phone for you to answer between jobs.
Yes. Along with tap-to-call, every page has a quote form that asks about the job: what is wrong, where they are and how to reach them. You see the details in the app before you call back.
Tap-to-call at the top, a page for each service you sell, real photos of your techs, your Google reviews up front, a short quote form and a way to reach you after hours. If a stressed homeowner cannot find your number in a few seconds, nothing else matters.
After every job, your customer gets a text with a link straight to your Google review page. Your best reviews show up front on the site, where homeowners decide.
We host the site, keep it running and fix anything that breaks. Review requests, missed-call text back and the lead app are included. No setup fees, no contract, cancel anytime.
Yes. The domain and all the content are yours, and they go with you if you ever leave.
Hop on a 15-minute call. We will look at your current site and show you what home service web design built for your trade would look like.
Good home service web design is not about how the site looks on the owner's desktop. It is about what happens on a homeowner's phone at 9 p.m. when the kitchen sink is backing up, or at 3 in the afternoon when the upstairs is 88 degrees. That person is stressed, in a hurry and comparing two or three companies. This guide covers what makes home services website design book jobs instead of just looking nice, and the mistakes we see most often.
Nobody searches for "a plumbing company." They search for the thing that is wrong: water heater leaking, no hot water, AC blowing warm air, breaker keeps tripping, garage door stuck halfway. The pages on your site should be built around those problems. When someone taps through and the first line names their exact problem and says you fix it, they keep reading. When they land on a home page with a slogan and a stock photo, they hit back.
Most of your best jobs start with a phone call. Your number belongs at the top of every page, and on a phone it should be a button that dials with one tap. Repeat the call button after each section so nobody has to scroll back up. If you answer around the clock, say so right next to the number. If you don't, say when you do, and give people a way to reach you that works after hours.
You can't answer while you are in a crawl space or driving between jobs, and an emergency caller doesn't wait around for a callback. They hang up and call the next name on Google. An instant text back to every missed call tells them a real company got the message and someone will reach out. Form requests that come in at night deserve the same quick reply, or the homeowner fills out three more forms.
Calls on your cell, form emails in an inbox, Facebook messages, texts to the office line. When leads come in through five doors, some get missed. A site that sends every call, text and quote request into one app on your phone lets you see who reached out, when and what they need, and answer from the truck.
A form that only asks for a name and an email gives you nothing to work with. Ask the questions you would ask on the phone, and keep it short:
Four or five fields is plenty: enough for you to call back with a plan, and short enough for the homeowner to fill out with one thumb.
One "Services" page with a list of bullet points can't carry the load. Drain cleaning, sewer line repair, water heater installs, AC repair, furnace tune-ups, panel upgrades, EV charger installs, move-out cleans, termite treatment and opener replacement are all searched on their own. Give each one a page that explains the problem, how you handle it, what affects the cost and what the homeowner should do while they wait. Use photos from your own jobs. A page like that answers the exact question someone typed into Google and gives Google a clear reason to show it.
Homeowners are letting a stranger into their house, often with kids or pets at home. Reviews are how they decide who is safe. Show your Google rating and a few real reviews near the top of the page, not buried in the footer. A review that mentions a real detail, like "showed up in an hour and explained the fix," does more than a wall of five-word ones. Keep them coming by texting every customer a direct link to your review page right after the job, while they are still happy.
Stock photos of a smiling model in a spotless uniform are easy to spot. Real photos of your techs, your vans and your work show a homeowner who will actually ring the bell. If your techs are licensed, background checked or trained on certain equipment, say so in plain words, and list your license number where your state requires it. In this business, trust is most of the sale.
A homeowner needs to know fast whether you cover their area. List the cities and neighborhoods you serve and keep that list matching your Google Business Profile. Mention your hours, whether nights and weekends cost more and how quickly you can usually get someone out. A clear service area saves you calls from two counties over and tells the right customers they are in the right place.
You don't need a price list, and most service work can't be priced without seeing it. A few lines on what drives the cost still go a long way: a diagnostic or trip fee if you charge one, when repair beats replacement, financing if you offer it and maintenance plans if you sell them. People who understand how you price are more likely to call and less likely to be shocked at the door.
Someone standing in a wet basement or a hot attic is not on fast Wi-Fi. Pages need to load quickly on a phone with one or two bars. That means compressed photos, no autoplay video at the top and no pop-ups covering the call button. Every second of waiting is a chance for them to tap the next result.
A phone number saved as an image. It can't be tapped, so people have to type it in, and many won't.
Old reviews and no recent photos. A site that hasn't changed in three years makes people wonder if you are still in business.
A form that goes to an inbox nobody checks. The lead has gone cold by the time someone reads it.
No way to reach you after hours. Emergencies don't keep business hours, and the companies that win them don't either.
Our home service web design covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning, pest control, garage door and other residential trades, and the same rules carry over to bigger project work. If you run a roofing or remodeling company, our contractor web design page covers estimates, project photos and financing. Builders and general contractors should read our page on construction website design.
